For nearly 20 years, the foundation Estrellas en la Calle has been dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable populations living on the streets of Cochabamba. Its current project provides specialized care to 10 children, 30 adolescents, and 35 young mothers experiencing homelessness, with the goal of improving their living conditions and facilitating their social reintegration.
Through a holistic and multidisciplinary approach, the foundation offers medical and psychosocial support, along with awareness workshops on violence, substance abuse, life on the streets, rights and responsibilities, human trafficking, and modern slavery. It also organizes educational and recreational activities to foster self-esteem and personal growth, helps beneficiaries obtain essential legal documents such as birth certificates and identity cards, and works to reunite families whenever possible. By developing participants’ skills and collaborating with partner organizations, the foundation equips them with the necessary tools to build a stable, independent, and dignified future.

The Foundation Estrellas en la Calle was created in 2005 by Víctor Hugo Arellano Soto. It develops programs and projects based on a multidisciplinary approach aiming at the care and prevention of risky situations such as violence, delinquency, wandering.
